Kyle Downey just wrapped up his collegiate career at Siena College, but he will soon embark on a pro basketball career.

Downey tweeted early Friday that he will start his pro career.

"Going to get paid to play basketball.... A Dream come true"

Downey later confirmed that he will play for the Albany Legends, which open the 2012 season on March 30.
