Colleague Adam Samrov does a good job working on d3football.com's Around the East column so I read it to get ready for all things RPI and Union.

I pulled it up this evening at the office to find this.

“You’re always nervous for the first game, but now we’re coming up here to a multi-million dollar facility and you want to put a decent product on the field,” RPI coach Joe King told Andrew Santillo from the Troy Record.

Samrov used to work for our sister paper in Saratoga and now is the managing editor of the Bennington Banner.

Give his column a read sometime. It's pretty good.

The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute football team received some national love when they entered d3football.com's Top 25 this week after advancing to 5-0 with a 35-14 victory over Susquehanna.

Now, the Engineers and notably senior quarterback Jimmy Robertson and fellow senior and roommate wide receiver Eren Savasli, lead Adam Samrov's Around the East column on d3football.com.

One other note. Samrov used to work for our sister paper, The Saratogian, and now works for the Bennington Banner.
