Syracuse 98, UAlbany 74

SYRACUSE - The University at Albany certainly didn't win on Tuesday evening, but they took a step in the right direction.

Gerardo Suero scored a game-high 31 points and Logan Aronhalt added 20, but the Great Danes dropped to 1-2, on the year.

Suero's total was the most by an opposing player, at the Carrier Dome, since Cornell's Ryan Wittman scored 33, back in 2008.

He also scored the most points for a UAlbany player, since Jason Siggers scored 34 against Vermont, back in 2007.

Here are postgame reactions from Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim and UAlbany coach Will Brown.
