GAMEDAY: UAlbany vs. Brown

The University at Albany men's basketball team looks to get its first victory of the season in the Dick's Preseason NIT, this afternoon against Brown.

The Great Danes will be trying to avoid an 0-2 start for the fourth consecutive season.

UAlbany has defeated Brown in both of the previous meetings between these two school, winning in 2005 and 2006.

UAlbany Notes:
The Great Danes are coming off a 89-56 loss at No. 10 Pittsburgh on Friday evening. UAlbany is trying to avoid an 0-2 start for the fourth consecutive season. Junior college transfer Gerardo Suero scored 17 points in the season-opener.
Brown Notes:
The Bears opened up play with an 86-66 victory over Division III Johnson & Wales. Sophomore Sean McGonagill was the Ivy League's rookie of the year, last season, averaging 11.8 points per game. In the opener, McGonagill finished with 20 points, 10 assists and six rebounds.
