GAMEDAY: UAlbany at No. 5 Syracuse
SYRACUSE - The University at Albany will square off against its second Top 10 opponent in a five-day stretch on Tuesday.
The Great Danes take on No. 5 Syracuse, in the NIT Preseason Tip-Off, with a trip to Madison Square Garden on the line.
UAlbany junior transfer Gerardo Suero helped lead UAlbany to its first win of the season, scoring a game-high 29 points, in a 77-68 victory over Brown on Monday.
Suero is now averaging 23 points per game, through his first two games as a Great Dane.

UAlbany will play Syracuse, who throttled Manhattan, 92-56.
Senior Kris Joseph (right) surpassed the 1,000-point mark and the Orange improved to 2-0.

UAlbany has never beaten Syracuse (0-8) and never defeated a ranked team (0-12).
