SYRACUSE - The University at Albany men's basketball team looked pretty good in the first half, here at the NIT Season Tip-Off, at the Carrier Dome, in Syracuse.
The Great Danes shot 53.8 percent (14-26) and it was newcomer Gerardo Suero leading the way with 14 points.
UAlbany's biggest lead was 14 points and the showed they were the better team. Now, they will see if they can finish Brown off.
The Bears were led by Sean McGonagill, who had 10 points in the first 20 minutes.
