Siena men's basketball coach Mitch Buonaguro will be one of 10 coaches honored in a pregame ceremony at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday for their work in the fight against cancer.

LOUDONVILLE - It may not be the name that many people were expecting, but Siena men's basketball coach Mitch Buonaguro announced Wednesday that he has brought on Tobin Anderson to the staff.

Anderson was Hamilton College's men's basketball coach for the last seven seasons.

His team at Hamilton went 118-63 over his time there.

"It's hard to leave because I have a great job here," Anderson told the Utica Observer-Dispatch.

Buonaguro said he was happy with the decision.

“I’m really excited with the hire,” he said. “Tobin brings extraordinary experience to the job. I have known him for the last 20 years, and admired his knowledge and work ethic. He’s a first class person and coach. I’m confident he will help us bring Siena basketball back to the top of the MAAC.”
