ALBANY - UAlbany had one poor stretch in the second half and it really cost them.
On a night when the Great Danes could have picked up big ground in the conference standings, UAlbany fell at home and lost for the fourth straight time against Vermont.
The Catamounts went on a 12-0 run midway through the second half to push the lead to 17 and coast to the finish line.
Brendan Bald led Vermont with a game-high 20 points, while Evan Fjeld addeed 19.
Tim Ambrose scored 16 for UAlbany, while Logan Aronhalt finished with 12.
The rebounding difference wasn't that big, 37-35 Vermont, but they had the boards that were big.
UAlbany heads on the road to face New Hampshire, on Wednesday.
