ALBANY - Muhammad El-Amin hit a jump shot with a hand in his face with one second remaining to give first place Stony Brook a two-point victory.
El-Amin scored a game-high 19 points for the Seawolves.
UAlbany got 17 points from senior Will Harris, 16 from senior Scotty McRae and 12 from junior Tim Ambrose.
The Great Danes had a three-point lead twice in the final eight minutes, but couldn't get the lead any larger.
