Downey's road to return
LOUDONVILLE - Siena sophomore guard Kyle Downey is out of the boot that has been on his right foot since breaking it during practice on Jan. 19.
Downey is still hoping to make a return to the court by MAAC Tournament time.
The Saints surely could use him to add to their depth.
On Wednesday, Downey was on the court by himself before practice shooting at the hoop, but no jumping and very little movement or cutting.
"Nothing really to report, other than he's making good progress," Siena coach Fran McCaffery said on Tuesday.
