The University at Albany has ended their long eight-game losing streak and pulled back into eighth place with a 75-62 victory over UMBC on Saturday night.

Scotty McRae tied for game-high honors with 19 points, while Tim Ambrose added 17 and Mike Black finished with 15 for the Great Danes, who won just their third conference regular season game in their last 21 contests.

Siena transfer Chris De La Rosa led the Retreievers with 19 points and Chauncey Gilliam added 15.
