While the Siena Saints missed out on the Top 25 poll for the first week, Sports Illustrated recognized the two-time defending MAAC Champions as the No. 20 team in their first Power Rankings.

Siena is after No. 19 Dayton and before No. 21 Mississippi State.

Fran McCaffery's club, which was picked to win a third consecutive conference crown on Tuesday, starts the season ahead of such team as Georgia Tech and former Siena coach Paul Hewitt, Louisville, Florida and UCLA (oh, and ahead of Syracuse, which didn't make the top 32).
