Fran McCaffery and Siena College came to terms on an 8-year contract extension that will run through the 2016-2017 season.

McCaffery made more than $400,000 in 2008, so the deal is probably in the neighborhood of $3-5 million dollars, but the exact terms weren't disclosed.

Either way this shows that Siena is committing to the man who has brought back-to-back NCAA Tournament seasons to Siena.
