Bucknell 77, UAlbany 64
ALBANY - Bucknell is a very good team.
The Bison proved that on Saturday evening, as they knocked down shots and got out of SEFCU Arena, with a 77-64 victory.
Bucknell, which has already knocked off Penn State, made 14 3-pointers and looked good doing it.
The Bison were led by Ben Brackney, who scored a game-high 22 points and knocked down six 3-pointers.
UAlbany played much better in the second half, but still didn't have nearly enough to overcome a big first half hole.
Th Great Danes were led by Peter Hooley, who matched his career-high with 21 points, while Sam Rowley chipped in 15.
The Bison are the defending Patriot League champs and I wouldn't be surprised if they are the top team in that league once again.
