UAlbany honors victims of Sandy Hook

ALBANY - Before Friday's game against Quinnipiac, the University at Albany men's basketball team warmed up in t-shirts honoring the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting, which happened one week ago.

There was a 26-second moment of silence to honor each of the victims of the tragedy.

Below are Reece Williams and John Puk with the shirts on. The back of the t-shirt read, "Newtown, CT."

Quinnipiac is from Hamden, Conn., which is only about 30 miles from Newtown.

The Bobcats coaching staff was wearing ribbons on their suits to honor the victims of the shooting.
