LOUDONVILLE - Siena sophomore Lionel Gomis has left the program, the school announced on Friday.

Gomis recently informed coach Mitch Buonaguro of his desire to leave the program for family reasons.

"We're sorry to see Lionel go, but respect his decision," Buonaguro said.

Gomis appeared in just one game so far for the Saints, playing two minutes in the season-opening loss to Vermont.
