Vermont 24, UAlbany 20 (half)

ALBANY - UAlbany did its best to gut through the first half.

That might not be enough against a very talented vermont team.

Already playing without the nation's fifth-leading scorer Gerardo Suero, the Great Danes saw Luke Devlin go down in the first half.

Also, Logan Aronhalt, who wasn't expected to play yesterday, didn't score in nine minutes for UAlbany.

Jayson Guerrier leads the way for the Great Danes with eight points, while Brendan Bald has seven points for the Catamounts.

Vermont's leading scorer, Four McGlynn, hasn't scored yet. He had 24 points Sunday against Stony Brook.
