Fordham 74, Siena 59
ALBANY - That wasn't pretty.
The Siena men's basketball team put up its first real poor performance of the 2011-12 season, losing big to a struggling Fordham team, 74-59, on Monday evening.
The Rams (4-5) led from wire-to-wire and led by as many as 19 points in the victory. Chris Gaston and Devon McMillan each scored 16 points, as all five starters were in double figures for Fordham.
Kyle Downey scored a game-high 22 points for Siena (3-7) and O.D. Anosike added 18, but there wasn't much offense otherwise.
Fordham set the tone early, making seven 3-pointers in the first half and finishing 15-for-28 (53.6%) from the field.
The Saints next play on Wednesday, Dec. 22, against Princeton.
