Vermont 60, UAlbany 48 FINAL
The Great Danes (1-1, 8-9) had a one-point halftime lead, but didn't shoot the ball well and lost an America East Conference game, on the road, against the Catamounts (2-0, 11-3).
"We didn't get any offense going," said UAlbany coach Will Brown. "From our end, we lost game game offensively."
The Great Danes were led by Logan Aronhalt, who finished with a game-high 21 points. Mike Black added 13 points and Tim Ambrose finished with 10 points, but shot just 4-for-17 from the field.
"We played good enough defensively to win the game, but the offense was atrocious," said Brown.
Brendan Bald and Matt Glass both scored 13 points and Evan Fjeld finished with 11 in the victory for Vermont.
"The good thing is this game will provide us with good film to watch before our next game," Brown said.
UAlbany travels to Hartford on Sunday at 3 p.m.
