Siena 73, Iona 67 FINAL

ALBANY - Siena played its best game of the season on Monday night.

They were left for dead in the first half, trailing by double-digits and still came back to post an impressive 71-67 victory over Iona in front of 5,580 in downtown Albany.

Ryan Rossiter converted a three-point play with 49 seconds remaining to give the Saints (2-1, 5-8) the lead for good.

The victory is the 1,000th by the Siena program in its 70th year.

Scott Machado led the Gaels (2-1, 8-6) with a team-high 21 points.
