Marist into 7th straight title game
ALBANY - Marist pulled away after a tough start from Niagara.
Three-time MAAC Player of the Year Rachele Fitz scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Red Foxes (25-7).
Jaclyn Konieczka scored a team-high 14 points for the Purple Eagles (13-18).
Marist, which has won four straight MAAC Tournament titles and five of the past six, and Fairfield split the season series, so it should be a great championship game tomorrow at 12 p.m.
