Ubiles is MAAC Player of the Week
Siena senior Edwin Ubiles was named MAAC Player of the Week on Monday, becoming the third different Saints player to win the honor in as many weeks.
It is the third time Ubiles has won the award in his career.
Ubiles averaged 23.5 points and six rebounds in two MAAC victories last week.
He scored a game-high 25 points against Niagara on Saturday after being taken out of the starting lineup for being late to a free throw shooting session on Friday.
Ubiles also surpassed the 1,700-point mark for his career and moved into fourth on the school's scoring charts.
