Siena roars to win over St. Joe's

ALBANY - Siena outscored Saint Joseph's 49-33 in the second half to propel them to a 92-75 victory at home.

The win matches the school's Division I record for longest home winning streak at 26.

Clarence Jackson went down hard late in the first half, but despite biting the inside of his cheek, which was a little swollen, he came back to terrorize the Hawks against with 23 points.

Edwin Ubiles scored 20 points in the second half, after foul trouble limited him to just seven minutes in the first half.

The Saints (2-0, 8-4) play Saint Peter's on New Year's Eve at 4 p.m.
