It happened a couple of days ago, but the University at Albany women's basketball team nearly upset North Carolina in the first round of the women's basketball NCAA tournament.

The Great Danes led at halftime and in the second half, but just didn't have enough to pull out the win and the Tar Heels advanced to Tuesday's matchup with Delaware and Elena Delle Donne.
