About the Saints: Siena has lost its last three games, being outrebounded in each game. Senior Owen Wignot will not play this evening, missing his fifth consecutive game, due to a head injury. The Saints’ four freshmen have accounted for 48 percent of the team’s offensive output.
About the Peacocks: Saint Peter’s is the defending MAAC champion. The Peacocks are coached by former Siena assistant John Dunne. Saint Peter’s leading scorer, Chris Prescott, is a transfer from Saint Joseph’s. The Peacocks lost their top five scorers from last year, which accounted for nearly 85 percent of their offense.
