UAlbany 44, UMBC 28 (half)
ALBANY -If there was any emotional hangover from the Senior Night festivities it wasn't evident as the Great Danes streaked out to a 13-3 halftime lead, hitting their first five shots.
It didn't slow down from there.
The Great Danes played one of their best halves of the year and have a big lead at halftime.
UAlbany shot an unbelievable 57 percent (16-28) and was led by both Logan Aronhalt and Mike Black, who each have 10 points.
Former Siena guard Chris De La Rosa leads the Retrievers with 13 points.
If UAlbany wins and Stony Brook beats Hartford, the Great Danes will be the No. 4 seed and play in the first quarterfinal next Saturday (March 5) at the University of Hartford.
