The University at Albany football team defeated Maine 20-16 last year at University Field, after trailing 16-0.

This season, the two teams kick off the regular season Thursday night at Alfond Stadium.

The Black Bears are looking for revenge.

Sophomore center Garrett Williamson told the Portland Press Herald that he wants another shot at the Great Danes.

"We're excited to have another crack at Albany," said Williamson. "I think the offense as a whole is more confident in its ability. We're looking forward to going to work."
