Bracketology 2009

Siena is in the 2009 NCAA Tournament.

Okay, well that won't be figured out for 11 months, but ESPN Bracketologist Joe Lunardi has penciled the Saints in as the 12th-seed in the Midwest Regional against Big 10 opponent Ohio State.

The other 12-seeds are Temple, Creighton and Dayton.

The Saints went 23-11 in 2007 and advanced into the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Siena returns the entire starting lineup and entire team, except for vocal leader Tay Fisher.

There's still a lot of work before we get to 2009 and March Madness.

Lunardi has selected Hartford as the America East representative and has the Hawks as a 16-seed playing top seed Texas.

Hartford lost to UMBC in the America East finals this past season.
